We were notified this morning by Ms. Kehoe of NYS, Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. Chair of the Transportation Committee that the hearing on Friday had been postponed due to scheduling conflicts.

Then later this morning we received an email with the article below from Theo at Alliance for A Greater NY. It seems that the Port Authority came to the federal Senate Hearing not looking much like a victim or an entity that is sorry for their action, but came to the hearing hunting for bear. As during the Senate Hearing the PA representative Deputy Executive Director Bill Baron kind of called out Senator Frank Lautenberg on his moral hypocrisy for taking advantage of the perks that were allowed to him when he served as a Port Authority Commissioner from 1978 to 1982.

The PA has a point their dysfunctional state is not something that is recent it has been going on for decades and there have been those who were in positions to take advantage of the dysfunctional state of the PA, perks and all.
