FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CONTACT: JOHN FEAL 631 724 3320/516 901 7427

Jon Stewart of the Daily Show, who was instrumental in the passage of our bill, joins in our cause again to help get Cancer added to the Zadroga Bill.

Dear Friends, Supporters and Fellow First Responders:

The time has come for cancer to be added to the Zadroga Act as a covered impairment. In the past several months we have seen policemen, firemen, construction workers and others fall victim to various forms of this terrible disease. We cannot wait for another to die for the sake of statistical analysis. We cannot wait for while another responder has to decide whether to pay his rent or pay for his cancer medications. We are calling upon NIOSH to immediately add some cancers to the list of covered impairments under the Zadroga Act.

We are pleased to announce that late night super star John Stewart has joined us in the fight to have cancer added to Zadroga! Please go to http://fealgoodfoundation.com/jon_stewart_cancer_in_zadroga_bill.html to view Mr. Stewart's passionate plea to decision makers to get cancer added now! I can say without doubt that no voice propelled the Zadroga Bill to passage more than Mr. Stewart's, and I am eternally grateful to him for joining this cause.

On behalf of the FealGood Foundation I'd like to thank Mr. Stewart for his message and promise him and all First Responders that the FGF will continue to push hard for cancer to be a recognized 9/11 illness.
