August 19, 2011 SEVENTEEN 9/11 FAMILY MEMBERS FILE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION LAWSUIT (FOIL)
Seventeen 9/11 Family members filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of New York to direct
the City of New York, Office of the Mayor, and Office of the Chief medical Examiner of the City of New York to release the list of the 2,749 family members
whose loved ones died on 9/11/01 for the sole purpose of notifying and seeking the input of the 9/11 families regarding the City's current plan to place human
remains some 70 feet below ground in the 9/11 Museum.
ORAL argument is set for September 14, 2011.
The Legal papers include a petition, 17 exhibits, 7 affidavits and a 13 page memorandum of law.
