Committee to Examine FEMA Preparedness

WASHINGTON
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, led by Chairman Joe Lieberman, ID-Conn., and Ranking Member Susan Collins, R-Me., will hold a hearing, Catastrophic Preparedness: How Ready Is FEMA for the Next Big Disaster? The hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 7 at 2:30 pm and look at progress made by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and steps it must still take to respond effectively to a catastrophe.
