Dear Friends,

For the last 8 years we have held a benefit for the NY Firefighters Burn Center Foundation. This year we will share the event with The Christian Regenhard Center for Emergency Response Studies at John Jay College, an applied policy research center dedicated to the effectiveness of America’s first responder community. The Center was begun with a donation from the Regenhard family. It was created in memory of their son Christian, a 28 year old NYC probationary firefighter who was killed on September 11, 2001, and also honors the memory of all 343 firefighters who were lost with him at the WTC.

The Center’s mission in part is to help improve emergency response, coordination, and promotion of best practices with Police, Fire, EMS, & Homeland Security personnel.

Attached is a flyer for our fundraiser event, which will be held at the Marine Corps League Clubhouse & Beer Garden, 99 Iwo Jima Blvd (New York Ave.), Massapequa, NY, on Sunday, October 3, 2010. Time: 2 – 6PM

The theme this year will be “A TRIBUTE TO UNITED STATES MARINES”

- honoring Marine vets from WW ll, Korea, Vietnam, 1st Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Please join us to thank these men and women for their unselfish service.

We need many hearts and many hands to make this event a success. Please let us know if you will be attending by calling: (516) 314-8653 If you can’t attend, we would welcome any donation you might care to give.

Audrey MacMillan,Chairman

Please make checks payable to the John Jay College Foundation, Regenhard Center c/o P.O.Box 330 ,Massapequa Park,N.Y.,11762
With Many Thanks from Sally, Al, and Christina Regenhard, 646-266-1987
