|Greetings 9/11 Community Friends
You are invited to the
Third Annual 9/11 Community Luncheon
Saturday, September 11, 2010
103 Washington Street (between Rector and Carlisle), NYC, NY
1:00pm to 3:30pm (1:00-1:30 Gather)
RSVP Information Below
This lunch was started by volunteers from St. Paul's Chapel World Trade Center Relief Ministry as an opportunity to reconnect. True to the spirit of Radical Hospitality practiced during the Chapel Relief Ministry, this post ceremony gathering has evolved into a lunch that welcomes every one from the 9/11 Community: volunteers, responders, rescue and recovery workers, survivors, family members, residents and friends.
For the second year in a row, we will dine at Moran's Restaurant, a "James Joyce Pub” holding NY Historical Building status, several blocks south of St. Paul’s. Usually closed on Saturday’s, we’re happy that Moran’s has decided to open on the 11th. The bottom of this email gives your RSVP instructions.
Pass this invite along to those who seek the company of friends on the commemoration of the ninth anniversary. Our upstairs luncheon space accommodates up to 140 people, so there’s plenty of room!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Barbara Horn and Stacy Horn, The Planning Gang aka Sisters’ Act
P.S. It would help my sanity if those of you who have already emailed me about coming would do so again and tell me (again) your eating category. Thanks for understanding the complexities of tracking a large group!!!
1. Choose one of two eating options:
a) LUNCH: $30 covers the whole enchilada (Note: Moran’s does NOT have enchiladas): Salad, Entree, Soda (all you want), Tea/Coffee and Dessert, Tip and Tax There will be a vegetarian pasta option!
b) DESSERT: $10 includes the Goodies, Tea/Coffee, Tip and Tax
2. Email your eating option to Barbara Horn: Barbaranewyork@hotmail.com
3. Your RSVP confirmation will include final details and ask you Lunchers to pick an entrée. DESSERTers will be forced to choose between NY Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse Pie upon arrival at Moran's
