Momentum is building to pass the 911 Health and Compensation Act. I wanted to include the agenda for those interested in attending. There is still room on the buses, especially on the 125 Barclay, Manhattan, bus. We need to confirm the busses, so please let us know by 12 noon on Monday, September 13th if you are interested in the bus to Washington. Also attached is the general flyer.

10:30-12:00 Press Conference: West Lawn of the Capitol

12:00-12:15 Divide into Lobbying Groups

12:30-2:45 Lobby Congressional Offices (we will divide into groups)

3:00 pm Capitol Steps: Congressional 9-11
Remembrance Ceremony

All Members of Congress will gather on the East

Capitol Steps for a bicameral, bipartisan remembrance

ceremony as Congress pays tribute to the thousands of

Americans whose lives were taken on September 11, 2001.

4:00 pm Depart Washington

The Time is NOW to Support Our 9/11 Heroes

9 Years is Long Enough

September 15th, 2010

West Lawn of U.S. Capitol

10:00 am

Followed by lobbying Congressional offices

9 years ago, this country witnessed the worst terrorist attack in our history. What we also witnessed was brave men & women rushing into harms way to ensure the safety of NYC & our beloved country. These brave souls, uniformed & non-uniformed, were promised help by the federal government, and after 9 years they are still waiting. In July, our bill, H.R. 847, was voted down by a procedure that splintered an already partisan House of Representatives. We are now calling on both sides of the aisle in Congress to vote like Americans and not with their political affiliations.

On September 15th at the U.S. Capitol, we will demand a floor date in September & a regular up & down rules vote on H.R. 847.

Unions, advocates, elected officials and others will be joined by 9/11 responders, volunteers, survivors, widows, and those affected by 9/11 and its aftermath.

Pass H.R. 847, the James Zadroga Health & Compensation Act.

Anything less is unacceptable.

Long Island 4.00am sharp at Exit 49 on Long Island Expressway Park & Ride on north service road.

NYC 4.30am sharp from the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd & 8th

NJ 5.30-5.45am from Exit 8th Molly Pitcher rest stop

Please note, other buses will be provided by the unions and locations will be different.

Food and beverages will be provided the FGF at the above mentioned pick up points.
