What is it now and why cant they get press or help from any elected official or politician who go to Bat for a Mosque at ground Zero.

Despite them building another Mosque 7 blocks away .Yes not one Mosque but 2.

But they refuse any help to the Christian-Orthodox Church St. Nicholas

Which was obliterated on 9/11

Open these photos .

Makes you wonder

Churches: NO, Mega Mosques: YES

Not one Mosque but 2 The other is being built 7 blocks away

The tiny Christian-Orthodox Church St. Nicholas once stood in the shade of the World Trade Center and was crushed under smoldering debris when the Twin Towers collapsed on 9/11/2001.

Nine years later, it still has not been rebuilt yet. The project is hampered by bureaucracy, with hostile high level NY officials throwing all kind of obstacles in the way.

This is in stark contrast with the same officials rush to approve the building of the Mega-Mosque at Ground Zero.

Unable to rebuild their church the christian community continues to hold its religious services in a tent. Meanwhile, the Mega-Mosque led by an Imam who believes Sharia law should be implemented in America has the green light to begin construction.

Even though almost 70% of predominantly liberal New Yorkers don't want this atrocity built so close to Ground Zero, and an even higher percentage of Americans oppose it, Obama and Bloomberg 'forcefully' support it?

From http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/08/13/obama-backs-mosque-near-ground-zero/

Obama Backs Mosque Near Ground Zero
WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama on Friday forcefully endorsed building a mosque near ground zero, saying the country's founding principles demanded no less.

"As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country," Obama said, weighing in for the first time on a controversy that has riven New York and the nation.

"That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances," he said. "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable."
