25,000 T Shirts for Haiti Update 2/7

The Where to Turn Team sorted and packed 2,600 T Shirts today.

Deirdre DeAngelis the principal of New Dorp High School stopped by and personally dropped off the T-Shirts collected at New Dorp and PS 50

Close to 1,500 hundred shirts.

On a related note Joe Delaney from Deloitte and Tousch was at New Dorp HS and saw the shirts they had collected. He told Deirdre that he was going to try to get us all of their shirts from past events. He said they have tons.

To date we have approximately 10,000 (2,600 packed) on hand and another 7,500 committed.

We need some help getting to the Fire Commissioner.

We really need some volunteers for next Saturday as we really need to get all the on hand shirts sorted and packed.

We also need some people to do pick ups at the drop off locations this week.

Finally we are also going to need volunteers at the end of the month to drive to the off Island locations to pick up shirts.
