Anthony R. Gaeta Democratic Club
With the help and generosity of John Solazzo, the Anthony R. Gaeta Democratic Club will be outside PathMark (Forest Avenue) this Sunday January 17, 2010 at 10:00AM. Spearheading the event are Gaeta club members Samantha Giordano and Dominick DeRubbio. Contributors are being asked to donate anything from the below list or purchase items from PathMark. With a strong focus on assuring that the people of Haiti have an ample water supply, the club will be purchasing and collecting cases of bottled water to deliver to Charity:Water’s office on Sunday evening. Charity:Water, a non-profit whose mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations, is sending a plane on Tuesday to Haiti with products that they are in need of. No elected officials are confirmed as of yet. Where To Turn’s Dennis McKeon has pledged 100 cases of water to the club’s initiative.
The following products are needed:
Feminine hygiene products
Cases of bottled water
(*An asterisk marks that the items can be gently used.)
