|As you may know Angelís Circle is in need of donations to help repair damage from a fire so that they can light up the site for the holidays.
We did our small part to help Wendy by getting the word out through our distribution.
During our conversation I mentioned that we were receiving a donation of 50 cases of clam sauce from Lamonica Fine Foods and that I was attempting to get some pasta donated so that we could supply full meals for the local food pantry.
Well Wendy got a call from Met Foods wanting to know if there was anything they could do to help with Angelís Circle.
Wendy said that she really couldnít use anything from Met Foods but mentioned that we were looking for some pasta.
Met Foods called us up and said that I could come by on Thursday and pick up 30 cases of pasta.
It never ceases to amaze me how generous people can be if they just know who needs the help.
So now we have enough for 300 full meals.
I am sure that we will be able to collect the rest.
If you would like to help out please let us know.
Also if you know any families in need of toys for the holidays we have already received over 200 from the girl scouts and will be collecting all of the toys from the combined toy drives of St. Johns and Notre Dame HS.
Everything we collect will be distributed over the holidays.
We are also looking to purchase some gift cards and movie tickets for the older kids.
If you would like to help us out donations can be sent or drooped off at
