It appears that our friend Senator Gregg has gotten his way and temporarily stopped the funding for the rail link between JFK and Ground Zero (see link Below)

At the same time he was able to acquire $20.7 Million for the construction of a new dry dock in New Hampshire.

I guess as long as the money is for New Hampshire it is ok.

The sad part of the story is that we let guys like this get away with these types of things.

Just because this guy is the ranking member on the Budget Committee and a Member of the Appropriations Committee others fall in line when he rants and raves like a little kid who didn't get a big enough piece of pie.

Even with the positions he holds his track record is not that great.

During his stay in the Senate he has sponsored 169 bills and 119 of them have not made it out of committee.

Out of the 169 only 5 have actually been enacted into law.

But he is still able to deny New York the funds that were committed, funds that he had already approved.

Am I the only one who sees something wrong with that picture.

I hope that Senators Schumer and Clinton will stand up to him and demand that the funds committed to NY are delivered to NY.

In the meantime they should demand the same type of freeze on funds going to New Hampshire.
