People ask me why in the world would
I get involved with a Michael Moore film project,
ODDLY enough, people in the U.S. especially
elected officials pay little or no attention unless
you are on the 'WATCH LIST' or you speak about
issues that are 'UN-AMERICAN'.Most don't seem
to care that are loved ones are buried in FRESH
KILLS or that it was the 9/11 FAMILY groups that
shamed the City & MAYOR into continuing to
look for human remains after a THOROUGH
search was completed. In this country we have
no problem funding a war that the many people
NOW question and yet we have BEG the
PRESENT administration to FUND out ailing
9/11 responders and volunteers as they Die...
What Happened to 'WE WILL NEVER FORGET' !!!
Many issues that for over 5 yrs that eat away at
me on a daily basis will be with me for the rest
of my life.I was a vol after 9/11 at the SITE,I've
experienced the frustation of other volunteers
being denied by the Wrkrs Comp Board for a
FUND that was earmarked for VOL'S that
is now used by the CTY to bankroll it's lawyers
for any upcoming 9/11 litigatation.I exprienced
the frustration of my 2nd Cousin being buried in a
LANDFILL or still buried in some once 'SEARCHED'
sewer and a Mayor that controls the PURSESTRINGS
of 'AMERICA'S MEMORIAL' that WONT list my cousins
name with other Port Authority employees 'THE NORTH
TOWER',sub-standard building codes,sub-standard salary's for
OUR FINEST,CLOSING of Firehouses,denial of
LINE-OF-DUTY Benefits for 9/11 Responders,the
LIST gets larger as TIME goes on.I still BELEIVE
in the motto 'WE WILL LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND'
I guess I'm in the minority here.
Thank You All...BillyCigars
