From Thu Jan 18, 2007 2:00 am to Sat Jan 20, 2007 1:59 am (included)
|There were no remains recovered today at the site or at 11 Water Street.
The Mayor’s claims that they have the best possible team assembled to complete a comprehensive search.
Community Board 1, the 9/11 families and most of the other elected officials disagree.
Here is a possible solution.
The Mayor’s team continues with the search.
JPAC is brought in to evaluate the current search plan including the protocols at the site and at 11 Water Street.
The Mayor’s Office agrees to abide by JPAC’s recommendations.
This may or may not include:
Expanding the current search area both above and below ground.
A reevaluation of everything that took place prior to the opening of 11 Water Street. (Including the Deutsche Bank Building)
A reevaluation of the current DNA testing programs and ID procedures
The JPAC approved plan and protocols are shared with the families and made public.
JPAC has final say in determining when the search is deemed complete.
