We did a little research and below are a few interesting articles pertaining to the identification of the remains.

It appears that many questions are still unanswered.

Some of these articles speak about the new technologies being employed

Others talk about the good condition of the remains

The bottom line is it has been five years and it appears that either these processes are not working

Or

The remains have yet to be tested.

The families especially those who have not gotten any remains have the right to know what is going on.

Add this to the fact that there is a tracking system in the property office that would help with the identification process that is not being used.

As with the recovery effort there does not seem to be any strategic plan to this as well.

The latest “NEW PROCESS” has been in place for over 3 months and we have only had 4 identifications.

Here are a few questions that need to be answered

From the original recovery have all of the remains been tested?

If not, why not?

From the original recovery have all of the unidentified remains been retested with the new technology?

If not, why not?

Have all of the remains from the Deutsche Bank building been tested with the new technology?

If not, why not.

Have any of the remains from the recent finds (haul road, manholes etc) been tested with the new technology?

If not, why not?

Finally what were the dates and the results for all of the tests that have been conducted and what has been the total cost of the operation?

We have also added a few articles below about Choicepoint Inc which is the parent company of Bode Technology.

It appears that they have millions of dollars worth of contracts with the Federal government but seem to also have many problems with the data they collect.

What safeguards are currently in place to assure that similar problems do not occur with Bode Technology?

Put It Above Ground

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children offers tips on keeping children safe:
  • Make sure you know where each of your children is at all times.
  • Be involved in their activities and give them lots of attention and supervision.
  • Listen to them, especially if they talk about people they don't want to be around.
  • Teach them they can say no to unwelcome actions or touching by others.
  • Be sensitive to changes in their behavior or attitudes.
  • Screen babysitters and caregivers. Check references and sexual offender registries.
