Edward Cardinal Egan
Archbishop of New York
1011 First Avenue
New York, New York 10022
Dear Cardinal Egan,
My name is Jeannie Evans. I am a 9/11 family member, sister to 36 year old FDNY Firefighter Robert “Bobby” Evans.
The recent and ongoing “discovery” of human remains at Ground Zero warrants this letter of appeal.
As the desecration of human remains is against the Church, the desecration of human remains is also illegal.
The rights of the 9/11 victims have been and are still being violated.
The only voice, the murdered victims of 9/11 have, is the voice of the family.
However, we are being shunned, ignored and blamed.
I/we need your help and support in getting the construction stopped at Ground Zero.
JPAC, the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command’s forensic anthropologist team must be put in place at Ground Zero and the garbage dump at Fresh Kills, Staten Island.
They, JPAC, are more than capable and willing to come to New York to search and retrieve any and all 9/11 human remains.
Please your Eminence, be the voice that is needed, be the voice of the murdered 9/11 victims, so they may have a proper burial in holy ground and rest in peace.
Appreciatively yours, I await your response.
