|Once again nothing was found because there was no search activity today.
As reported yesterday the teams are starting to break ranks.
We hear that the Port Authority threatened to remove itself from the entire search operation with the exception of possibly supplying a few police officers.
The City was not very happy with this but the way they have been handling the operation this is probably the first of many defections.
What really surprised everyone is that it came on the heals of Port Authority Chairman Anthony Coscia stating yesterday "The city's led efforts in terms of recovery of at the site we consider to be paramount, so any adjustments we've had to make to construction we have made them, and we will continue to make them and we will always continue to make them," "To date they have not had a material impact on the construction schedule."
We guess it has begun to impact construction as the foundations are to be poured tomorrow.
They will probably use the city's mishandling of the operation as an excuse.
The bottom line is because Ground Zero is not part of NYC the mayor really has no say.
We predicted this would happen and the same is still true with the construction being exempt from building and fire codes.
One would think that since it is a multi state property that the federal government (Clinton and Schumer ) would be able to enlist JPAC at least for the search of the PA property.
This only goes to prove that this is only about rebuilding and nothing to do with a comprehensive and compassionate search for remains.
More on this as we receive.
