From Thu Nov 09, 2006 2:00 am to Sat Nov 11, 2006 1:59 am (included)
|Seven more human remains were uncovered today.
These came once again from the first manhole uncovered and were the result of a final scrape and search.
This brings the total number of remains to 210.
206 which were found in or around the first manhole.
The manhole with the broken cover has yet to yield any remains as most of its contents were huge boulders and pieces of concrete.
They are going to put off the excavation of manholes 3 and for because of their proximity to the service bridge.
They are afraid that the excavation would impact the integrity of the bridge and that it is needed for the current truck route.
Once again priorities.
There is a meeting going on at this time at City Hall more on that tomorrow.
Also there should be news coming out shortly that the small family area located inside the fence will be removed from the site. Indications are that this will happen early Spring.
Still nothing on the excavation of the service road and they are moving forward with their test drilling grid map plan.
We will keep you posted
