|The weather hindered the search effort today but there was a tooth and a jacket recovered today.
They could not immediately identify the jacket but we should know more tomorrow.
We believe that these items came from the material being searched from manhole # 6.
There are things developing at this time.
We should have more to report in the morning.
There was a LMCCC Meeting today and the following plan was developed.
The L-shaped area parallel to West Street from Vescey to Liberty (inside the fence line) and east on Liberty to where the Greek Church stood is going to be mapped out
The mapped area will be broken up into 15 ft X 50 ft Grids (approximately 100 grids)
In each of these grids a test pit will be dug
Each test pit will be 8 ft X 8 ft and 5 feet deep.
The material from these pits will be removed and searched.
Additional pits will be dug if remains or WTC material is uncovered.
The mapped area will also be expanded if recoveries continue to be made.
No decision on the service road at this time.
More on this tomorrow.
