|No new remains were uncovered today as they continue to sift through clean fill.
They expect to be to levels in additional manholes where remains were found tomorrow in the first one.
There was a meeting with the Chief of Detectives today and it was decided to move the testing facility off site.
The new location has not been determined but as reported yesterday they will most likely work through Saturday and then take a two week hiatus.
Another meeting is taking place Friday to discuss this move.
Infighting continues at the site.
No decision on the excavation of the service road.
On another note there have been 3 new identifications of remains (apparently from pre Deutche Bank remains). Once again we had to hear this from the media. (AP story). Not the Mayor’s Office
2 of the identifications were of victims of Flight 11 the family of the other victim identified did not want the information released.
Hope to see all of you at the rally tomorrow 12:30 PM at Ground Zero.
Most of the papers are still putting a positive spin on the new search plan. We need to continue to write letters.
See two below about a recent article and ad in NY Daily News.
Very disappointing response from elected officials. None of them seem to want to stand up to the mayor.
We will be standing up in force tomorrow and will continue to keep you updated
