WORLD TRADE CENTER MEMORIAL MUSEUM TO RECEIVE AMERICA’S 9/11 MEMORIAL VICTIMS’ QUILT
The World Trade Center Memorial Museum tomorrow is expected to be deeded the America’s 9/11 Memorial Victims’ Quilt by family members who lost loved ones in the September 11th attacks. The Victims’ Quilt, measuring 10 feet high by 60 feet long, features photographs and names of every victim from the September 11th attacks, and was created under the aegis of project founder Jeannie Ammermann.
A dedication program ceremony is planned for tomorrow at the Marriott Financial Center in New York City from 9am-3pm. At 1pm, the Victims’ Quilt will be presented on behalf of the September 11th victims’ families, by Bill Doyle who lost his son Joseph on September 11th, to WTC Memorial Museum Director Alice Greenwald and Chief Curator Jan Ramirez.
