A Veterans'Ceremony
of Honor and Remembrance
at Ground Zero

Ensuring the Proper Recovery of Human Remains
of all Veterans & Civilian Victims of the WTC on 9/11

Saturday, July 15, 2006 - 12 noon

WHAT: Ceremony of Remembrance for all victims of the WTC who served
their country in the military on or before 9/11/01 & a call for proper
recovery of all victims' human remains at GZ

WHERE: WTC Church and Liberty Streets, NYC

WHEN: Saturday, July 15, 2006

TIME: 12:00 NOON - 1:00 PM

PROGRAM: Advocates for a 9/11 Fallen Heroes Memorial, 9/11 Parents & Families of Firefighters and WTC Victims & The Skyscraper Safety Campaign will join Veterans Groups to hold a Ceremony of Remembrance for those persons who served their country in the military in a special ceremony to be held on July 15, 2006 at GZ.at 12 noon.

Among those joining the ceremony will be The Leatherneck Motorcycle Club/Sunrise Detachment, The Patriot Guard, & the Nam Knights and a unit of the Marine Corps League will provide an Honor Guard and play taps. **The Veterans will read the names aloud of all former members of the military who were lost at the WTC. **

Special focus will be on the fact that 1,152 persons, among them former members of the military, remain missing at the WTC site. The efforts of the families to assure that qualified forensic investigators conduct a thorough search of the Deutsche Bank & WTC perimiter for all human remains at GZ will be highlighted. Human remains at Fresh Kills will also be acknowledged.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Richard Gould, Professor, Dept. of Anthropology, Brown University, Providence,RI & expert in human remains recovery, will speak about the proper minimum, scientific procedures necessary for the recovery of human remains at GZ. He will offer the City of N.Y. specific ways to accomplish this goal with the help of the JPAC.

** We are endeavoring to obtain the full list of all veterans (former & reserve military) lost at the WTC. If you would like your loved one's name included in the ceremony, please send their name & military affiliation to: sallyregenhard@aol.com

All Families & Friends, whether military affiliated or not, are encouraged to attend this brief, but very important ceremony to focus on the need to honor our loved ones and "to leave no one behind."
