We addressed the Harbor Terrace AARP charter last night and the seniors were very open to our programs and their major concern was not being aware of our programs. We told them we will try to expand our outreach by and will make presentations at any community group that invites us.
We are asking everyone to support Diane Horning by attending the court hearing about human remains and Fresh Kills on Friday 2/22. Click link below for details.

We are having a conference call later this week with families who lost children in furniture accidents. Our petition to support HR Bill 4266 has over 10,000 signatures and we are planning a trip to Washington DC in May to deliver it to every member of the House and Senate. Congressman Fossella is currently the only NY Congressman to sign on as a sponsor.

We are asking for your support of the St. Clare’s Robotics team which will be representing NYC in the national tournament in Atlanta. Unfortunately their appeals for financial support are falling on deaf ears as they are being told that even though they won the New York city tournament and will be representing NYC they cannot get support from any elected officials because they are from a Catholic school. This does not seem fair as other teams and student groups have received such support when representing Staten Island or New York. If you would like to support this team please contact Mary Lee at ScientificLEE21@aol.com

Our Re-Gifting for a Good Cause Program continues to go strong with donations still coming in. We were hoping for more school participation but have been overwhelmed by the individual contributions.
