Media Request (1):
Dear 9/11 Family Member:
We are working on an article about this year's September 11th memorial ceremony and the issues surrounding its location.
If possible, I'd appreciate it if someone could contact me to talk about his/her reaction to this event. I only need a few minutes for a brief interview.
The article will appear in a Japanese newspaper with a circulation of 8 million.
Thanks,
Beth

Media Request (2):
Dear 9/11 Family Member:
I'm writing from Kyodo News, Japan's largest news wire service.
Both Japanese and English reporters here are preparing for 9/11 anniversary stories this year with a focus on hope and renewal. As part of those stories, we're looking to interview children of victims who are now in their early to mid 20s, post-college grads embarking on career paths.
We appreciate any leads you might be able to offer.
Thank you in advance.
Best,
Crystal

Media Request (3):
Dear 9/11 Family Member:
I am a reporter for the ABA Journal magazine of the American Bar Association and am working on an article for our September issue about the September 11th Victims' Compensation Fund. The goal of the article is to look at the Fund from a lawyer's perspective and discuss whether it serves as a model for other, future mass tort cases. In other words, it is a 'lessons' learned' piece for the legal profession.
To that end I am seeking to interview victims' families who pursued claims through the Fund and also families who chose to pursue claims through litigation, outside of the fund to get their perspective on which process better served them and why. (I realize that many families are still in the midst of litigation). The Families of September 11th organization gave me your name as the administrator of a listserv for victims' families and suggested that you might be able to put this request on your listserv to see if anyone would be willing to talk to me for this article.
I am on a very tight deadline for the article and would need to speak to source by this Monday at the latest. I am happy to talk to in the evening or over the weekend as well.
I appreciate your assistance.
