In addition, the GKMDPC is committed to working with other organizations to commemorate the sacrifices made by others.

INTER-AGENCY COUNCIL FOR AGING, INC. OF STATEN ISLAND, NY

The Staten Island Inter-Agency Council for Aging (IAC) is an advocacy group established to identify and address the needs of Staten Island's elderly population. The Inter-Agency Council for Aging is comprised of over 65 organizations whose mission is to facilitate and promote programs and services for our aging population. The Council advocates for the housing, health care, social and transportation needs of Staten Island's elderly. The IAC also interacts closely with local and city legislators to advocate for services designed to meet these needs and implement meaningful programs for seniors through Staten Island. As a support system, the Council advocates for Staten Island's fair share of City, State and Federal funds available for senior services.
