TEN PENNY PLAYERS, INC.
The Waterways Project of Ten Penny Players, an arts in education program,
uses the arts to integrate literacy, creative expression, publishing, performance, service learning, computer skills, and critical thinking into a curriculum created
for a network of schools, libraries, community based organizations, and distant learners. Through workshops, publications and performances, Waterways encourages
all participants to actively engage in creative communities. |

THE CONFERENCE HOUSE ASSOCIATION
The Conference House, built in the 17th Century and located at the southern most tip of New York State in Staten Island, is famous for the Peace Conference held there on September 11, 1776. |

THE GARIBALDI MEUCCI
Today the museum is a National Landmark owned and operated by the Order Sons of Italy in America. In 1919, the Garibaldi Society turned the building over to the National Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA). With the assistance of the cultural department of the Italian embassy, the artifacts were collected from around the world to serve as a base for ongoing exhibits in the house. In May of 1956, the house was opened to the public and rededicated as the Garibaldi Meucci Museum. |
