|NEW YORK CITY YOUTHLINE
New York City Youthline is a confidential, toll-free telephone information and support service for young people, parents, service providers and community members. Youthline employs 16 to 24 year old "Listeners" who are trained and supervised by adult professionals to provide anonymous information and support to callers. Listeners assist callers in many types of situations: from youth-in-crisis, to family conflicts and relationship problems, to helping locate after-school and recreation programs in their neighborhoods.
